On November 3, the closing prices of four stocks in the Nifty 500 pack were more than 1.4% above their respective VWAPs (Volume Weighted Average Prices), according to StockEdge’s technical scan data.
VWAP represents the average price at which a stock traded during the day, with greater weight assigned to prices at which higher volumes were recorded. A closing price above VWAP indicates that the stock ended the session higher than its volume-weighted average traded price.
