Coca-Cola HBC raises 2026 revenue growth forecast on strong demand
The Switzerland-based bottler, which distributes Coca-Cola products across Central and Eastern Europe and Africa, has sustained growth despite rising energy, fuel and commodity costs following the Iran war.
The company now expects organic revenue growth in fiscal 2026 to be slightly above its previous forecast range of 6% to 7%. It had earlier anticipated growth at the upper end of that range, Reuters reported.
Coca-Cola HBC has adjusted product prices and packaging to cater to changing consumer preferences as households become increasingly value-conscious amid rising inflation and geopolitical uncertainty.
The company reported third-quarter organic revenue growth of 9%, beating the analyst consensus of 8% compiled by the company. Strong demand during the summer season and promotional campaigns linked to Coca-Cola's partnership with the FIFA World Cup in June and July supported growth, Reuters reported.
The campaigns included special-edition Coca-Cola and Powerade packaging.
The bottler maintained its fiscal 2026 organic operating profit growth forecast at 8% to 10%, indicating continued confidence in its profitability despite elevated input costs.
Coca-Cola HBC also said it remained on track to complete its acquisition of African counterpart Coca-Cola Beverages Africa by the end of 2026, with antitrust regulatory approval in Tanzania still pending, Reuters reported.
