'Fully subscribed in 95 minutes’: Jio listing leaves with greater responsibility, says Akash Ambani

Akash Ambani, the Managing Director of Jio Platforms, shared these emotional words at the National Stock Exchange (NSE) listing ceremony on October 28, 2026, following the historic ₹30,213 crore Jio Platforms IPO. The public issue shattered records by becoming fully subscribed within a mere 95 minutes of opening, drawing roughly 1.4 crore applications and accumulating bids worth approximately ₹7.4 lakh crore.
