Infosys will pay the dividend on November 11 to eligible shareholders having shares of the company as of November 3.

Infosys will pay the said dividend on November 11 to those shareholders who own the shares of the company in their demat accounts as of November 3. The IT major has a dividend yield of 4.16%, according to data on Trendlyne.

The dividend announcement comes after the company announced a final dividend of Rs 25 per share in June this year and an interim dividend of Rs 23 per share last year. Prior to that, it had announced a final dividend of Rs 22 per share in May.

The company today reported 6% year-on-year (YoY) rise in its consolidated net profit at Rs 7,823 crore for the July-September quarter of FY27 from Rs 7,364 crore in the year-ago period. Its revenue from operations meanwhile increased 11% YoY to Rs 49,244 crore during the quarter under review.

The results were more or less in line with Street expectations on revenue, although profit growth came below estimates. An average of seven brokerages had estimated an 11% rise in revenue and an 8% increase in net profit for the quarter.

The IT services major has trimmed its revenue growth guidance to 1-2% in constant currency for FY27 as against 1.5-3% given earlier. Infosys cited a challenging demand environment as a reason for lowering its guidance. The Bengaluru-based company retained its operating margin guidance of 20-22% for the full financial year.

The dividend announcement and Q2 earnings came during the post-market hours of Friday. Earlier during the day, the shares of the company closed marginally higher at Rs 1,154 apiece. Overall, the stock has fallen nearly 1% in a week but gained more than 13% in a month. The stock is however down more than 29% in 2026 so far.

In the longer term, Infosys shares have delivered negative returns of more than 24% in one year, 18% in three years and 33% in five years. The company has a market capitalisation of around Rs 4.68 lakh crore.
