On October 26, four Nifty500 stocks closed more than 2.5% above their respective volume-weighted average prices (VWAPs), according to StockEdge’s technical scan data. VWAP measures a stock’s average traded price weighted by volume, giving greater importance to prices at which higher trading volumes occurred. A closing price above VWAP indicates that the stock ended the session above its volume-weighted average traded price.
